Hall’s Arrow began its first official Adult Archery Achievement program in the spring of 2010, and these classes have been a great success! Adult Archery Achievement is a ninety-minute instructional league which meets once per week for twelve-week sessions. Adult Archery Achievement follows the same calendar as our JOAD program (see link at right).
In order to participate, adults need only have their own bow, and be able to shoot a distance of 18 meters (20 yards). We have students who are just beginning to shoot, experienced tournament shooters, and archers of every ability level in between. Adult Archery Achievement students in the fall session will spend the first thirty minutes of class receiving group and individual coaching, focused on shooting techniques and tournament preparation, and will then spend the following sixty minutes shooting for a score, which is counted toward a league in which prizes will be awarded. Coaching is also given intermittently during scoring.
