Fall 2008 JOAD Class Schedule

Saturday Classes begin on September 20th, and end December 13th

(Saturday Classes Will NOT be Held on Thanksgiving Weekend (November 29th)

Weekday Classes begin on September 23rd, and end December 18th

(Weekday Classes Will NOT be Held during Thanksgiving Week! (November 25th - 27th)

Beginners: Students who have had a minimum of one beginner lesson at Hall's Arrow and may have also had further instruction or practice. Students may have previously participated in JOAD. Students who are renting equipment, students who are not yet shooting 18 meters or students who do not yet use a clicker should enroll in beginner classes. Emphasis on correct basic form, learning to keep score and having lots of fun learning how to shoot correctly! Equipment may be rented for $25.00 per session, or $3.00 per week.

Intermediate: Students who have attended at least one previous JOAD session and have their own equipment. Intermediate students must be using a clicker and shooting 18 meters, and have an interest in learning to shoot competitively. Emphasis on intermediate shooting techniques and beginning tournament preparation.

Advanced: With instructor's permission only. Students should be prior members of Tournament Prep or Outdoor JOAD program, or have been invited to participate in this intensive 90-minute program. Heavy emphasis on advanced shooting techniques, equipment tuning, mental management and extensive tournament preparation. All-Star team members should register for Advanced classes.

Please Choose Class Times by Experience Level FIRST, Then by Date and Time:

Beginner Classes ($120.00 if prepaid, or $12.00 per week):

Saturdays at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.

Tuesdays OR Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.

Intermediate Classes ($145.00 if prepaid, or $14.00 per week):

Saturdays at 12:00 p.m.

Thursdays at 4:30 p.m.

Advanced Classes (Ninety Minutes; $180.00 payable in advance ONLY):

Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m.

Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

You may register your child by calling us at 860-646-0443 or stopping by the store. The Registration Fee of $10.00 is required AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION in order to reserve your child's space in our program. We are not able to "hold" spots for any student. Advanced Classes require full prepayment of the class fee at the time of registration; the Registration Fee of $10.00 is waived for the Advanced Class only.
